Frequently asked questions

How much does a German kitchen cost in Bahrain?

We don't publish prices, because no two kitchens are the same. The cost is driven by size, materials and appliances. Every quotation is fixed in writing before you commit, and includes VAT at 10%.

What is the difference between Nolte Küchen and Poggenpohl?

Both are German and both are made to order. Nolte Küchen offers the widest range and the strongest value, and suits most family homes. Poggenpohl, founded in 1892, is a luxury brand with a higher level of finish, more unusual materials, and a higher price.

Do you design the kitchen for free?

Yes. Design consultation and 3D visualisation at the Khalaifat showroom are free and carry no obligation to buy.

Can you work with my architect or contractor?

Yes. We regularly coordinate with architects, interior designers and main contractors on villa and apartment projects in Bahrain, and we work to their programme.

Do you supply the appliances too?

Yes. Khalaifat supplies Gaggenau, Bosch, Beko and Elba appliances, Elica and Turbo Air hoods, Blanco and Elba sinks, and Silestone and Dekton work surfaces. The kitchen, the oven, the hob, the hood, the sink and the countertop all come from — and are guaranteed by — one company.
